B Series VTEC Race Core

Crower is pleased to introduce a new high performance core for the twin cam B series VTEC engine platform. This new core features bigger secondary and primary lobes for unlimited spec and the ability to run outer lobes only, grinding away the mid lobe. The fact
that Crower grinds the cams in house gives you the opportunity to mix and match profiles for your particular application. Other possibilities are bigger idle lobes for increased performance on the bottom end, through the switchover point and beyond 10,000 rpm on the big mid lobe. This core is for serious race applications. Prices start at $750 for catalog grinds listed below, and $850 for custom cams with outer lobes only.

Fits Honda B16A and the Acura B18C/B17A cylinder heads. H22 DOHC VTEC Camshafts

The VTEC cores for the Honda H22 are now available to the general public! Crower,
with over 50 years of camshaft experience, offers a wide variety of designs with the most aggressive ramp speeds in the industry. These are premium Crower cores, NOT FACTORY REGRINDS. Crower is the cam choice of top H22 racers like Stephan Papadakis, Jeremey Lookofsky and Brauning Motorsports. They run $680.26 for the pair.

Acura B18A and B18B DOHC Camshafts (Non VTEC)

Put a little zip into your Acura LS/RS/GS (Non VTEC) with Crower's original line of chilled cast cam cores. Not regrinds of stock cores, but semi finished cores specifically designed for Crower that exceed factory specs for hardness and compatibility. Like all Crower cams, these are ground in-house at Crower. No more base circle problems typical with stock regrinds. Crower has developed several performance grinds from stock replacement, high performance street/strip, to full race (drag or road). Custom, proprietary race grinds also available. D16Z and Y SOHC VTEC Camshaft

Crower's new D16 SOHC VTEC cores are now available to the general public. No longer will you be subjected to bad regrinds that not only do not perform as advertised, but will also wear out over time...some shorter than others. As usual, Crower offers several different profiles to choose from, including a turbo grind that features short duration, low overlap and high lift for optimum performance. All motor and full race profiles are also available.
